  • The online system worked very well otherwise and made the booking part of the experience painless and very quick
  • Overall I would recommend using Niza cars but don't bother with using there downtown Fuengirola branch as you will just end up with very little choice and you may have to wait around while you wait for someone to come and deal with you from the airport office so if there busy up there then you will be waiting awhile which is no good when your on holidays

      When we needed to hire c car while we were in Spain we booked one online through Niza Car. We decided to collect the car from what the classed as their downtown Fuengirola office, which took us ages to find as there were no signs around for it. In fact it wasn’t till Steve went the following day with my Dad that they found the office.

      The booking process online was easy enough although the only down point to this was they gave the wrong office name they said we were looking for Europe Car which is the old name of the


      office hence one of the reason we couldn’t find it. The online system worked very well otherwise and made the booking part of the experience painless and very quick.

      The collection of the car was also very quick and painless as all Steve did was wait at the office till someone turned up, it appears that it is a part time office only and they will only come when they have a customer to give a car to.

      The car they gave us was a Mitsubishi Colt that was dirty on the out side and dirty on the inside which wasn’t really very good ...


      • but as it was the only car they had there was nothing that we could do unless we wanted to drive to the airport to swap it which we didn’t want to do. Steve did complain and had his comments noted on the form. The guy there did apologies and was helpful in giving us the separate tyre insurance free of charge.

        Returning the car was a strange experience as all we had to do was leave the car in front of the big metal doors down this ramp and post the keys through a hole in the wall which all seemed

        a little odd but as it was only a part time office it explained a lot of things.

        Overall I would recommend using Niza cars but don’t bother with using there downtown Fuengirola branch as you will just end up with very little choice and you may have to wait around while you wait for someone to come and deal with you from the airport office so if there busy up there then you will be waiting awhile which is no good when your on holidays. The staff though do try to help you and the service from them online is very good.

    Do you want to get ripped off? Do you want to be treated disrespectful? Do you want to wait 1.5 hours for returning your car while you have to catch your flight? If YES, please go to Niza Cars. If NO, please look further…

    When picking up the car the staff was very rude and clearly indicated that they were not happy that we had booked the insurance through CarDelMar. They threatened us that for every "1 mm scratch" we would have to pay a lot and that we have "a problem" because we booked through CarDelMar. At pick up Niza Car sends you an email with photo’s of the all the damages (a number of MB s over your 3G connection abroad ). They let us wait for 45 minutes before sending the email. They mentioned that we had to wait extra long", because we booked through CarDelMar. After receiving the email you have to inspect the car yourself to ensure that all damages are on the record. If you see any additional damage you need to take a picture of it yourself, as proof when you hand in the car. This is an almost impossible task as it is dark in the garage (we picked up the car at 22:00)…taking detailed pictures on a shiny car with flash light doesn’t work very well

    At return you have to wait for ages (1.5 - 2 hours). The same staff that is dealing with people picking up cars are also dealing with the returns. They first wash you car, before inspecting it thoroughly on damages (which normal car rental company does that???). The guy from Niza Car told me he had found 3 scratches that I had to pay for. Fortunately, I could prove that these scratches were already there at pickup through the photo’s that I had received from Niza Car themselves My friend was charged 750 euro for a scratch that was already there at pickup. The photos he received from Niza Car were blurry. Therefore, Niza Car did not believe the scratch was there already. Unbelievable

    Niza Cars is not a car rental company, they are criminals with the sole purpose to rip you off.
