Hulk had another similar version released in 2003, directed by Ang Lee, starring Eric Bana as the Bruce Banner (The Hulk) and Jennifer Connelly as Betty Ross. The story was about the origins of the Hulk. It was quite a hit during that period of time in 2003.

After Marvel studios got the rights back for The Hulk, they started working on a remake of the Hulk, known as the Incredible Hulk now. This time, ths story talks about his escape from the military government. The focus is on Bruce not mutating into the Hulk for about 5 months, since his last escape from the military. General Ross, who’s also Betty’s father, has been tracking Bruce for the past few months.

Bruce has been living in Brazil, working in a soft drink company. He has been looking

and working on cures everyday, working together with Dr. Green. One fine day, he accidentally cuts himself and drips a drop of his blood into one of the soft drink bottle. General Ross then tracks Bruce down in Brazil, resulting in Bruce having a series of unexpected events to follow.

The Incredible Hulk also featured the monstrous Abomination played by Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth). Emil’s thirst for power and to defeat Hulk caused him to be the test subject in various super soldier project conducted by General Ross. After getting defeated by Bruce once, his thirst eventually grew stronger and got the better of him. This caused him to inject the Hulk’s blood into himself, causing him to turn to the Abomination.

      • opinion. Although it didn’t include how Bruce eventually became the Hulk, I still felt that the story plot was sufficient enough for anyone to enjoy this movie. It was quite a big jump, from fighting the American Army, to Emil turning into the Abomination. I loved the way they made Hulk felt like he’s not only a strong and mean creature, but they also included various scenes on how he actually protected Betty to the extend. It made him felt like a gentle creature sometimes. The Incredible Hulk also had its fair mix of humor, especially during the love scene between Betty and Bruce; it was really funny in my opinion.

You could also see the love bonding between Betty and Bruce, sacrificing important items like Betty’s necklace pendant given by her mother. It also

showed on Hulk managed to saved betty when the chopper caught fire at the final fight scene. It also showed on Betty and Bruce managed to run away and survived all odds against them, even when they had no credit cards to use. You’ll see the both of them separated from each other at the end, which was a pretty sad event to happen in my opinion.

Overall, I feel this movie is really on par with Iron man. Both of them felt like they were packed with action and all. Especially with the part when Hulk fought General Ross’ army in the University after getting discovered. I really loved this action packed movie, would really recommend anyone, regardless of whether you are a fan or not, to definitely watch this show. A 9/10 for this show definitely.
