  • As well as the cabin crew being like this we have found the check in staff and ground crew are just the same although we them I think it is down to the amount of work that they have had on
  • The sandwiches which we purchased were not very fresh either so the whole catering side on board we weren't impressed with at all
  • Overall I wouldn't recommend flying with British airways on domestic flights, as the service is poor and the cost is high compared to other airlines such as Flybe and Monarch

British Airways is an airline we have used only a couple of times. We have flown on them domestically from Birmingham to Belfast and Birmingham to Glasgow. We haven’t flown on any other routes with them.

The reason for not flying on any other routes with BA is two fold. Firstly they are not the cheapest of airlines so they very rarely stack up well on price comparison and secondly our previous experiences have put us of flying with them again.

We have found on by flights we have been with BA that their staff come across as being arrogant and thinking that

they are a cut above the rest because they are working for BA. Where as most other airlines the staff are friendly and helpful, the BA staff have come across to us as completely the opposite.

As well as the cabin crew being like this we have found the check in staff and ground crew are just the same although we them I think it is down to the amount of work that they have had on. At Birmingham BA have had there own Eurohub for many years although this is now being shared with other airlines. The information that is provided ...

      • about delays when we flew to Belfast with them was non existent we were delayed by two hours but were never given any information about the delay or possible departure times until ten minutes before we were ready to board. They are one of the busiest airlines in the world and I think it shows that because the staff haven’t the time to give us passengers the feeling that we are all important.

Onboard the plane appears to be clean and tidy although some of the seat covers on our plane were ripped. The food offering was very poor all they had was

a couple of sandwiches as it was only a domestic flight. Even though on other domestic flights we have been on they have served us hot food if we wished. The sandwiches which we purchased were not very fresh either so the whole catering side on board we weren’t impressed with at all.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend flying with British airways on domestic flights, as the service is poor and the cost is high compared to other airlines such as Flybe and Monarch. I would rate there communication skills as poor and there staff are not the friendliest we have ever come across.
