School of Rock is one the funniest if not the funniest movie I’ve ever watched. Directed by Richard Linklater, it’s the story of Dewey Finn (Jack Black), a down on his luck rock star who gets kicked out of his own band and about to get kicked out of his apartment.

In order to take a job as a substitute teacher, he pretends that he’s his roommate Ned Schneebly.

Dewey manages to charm his way to the very expensive private school and becomes a substitute teacher of fifth graders.

When he discovers that some of them are musically talented, he starts to ...

      • teach them about rock music and enters them in a battle of the bands competition.

I love this movie so much because of Jack Black.

He’s a relative unknown before this movie.

With School of Rock, he made himself one of Hollywood’s most bankable comedians.

He’s just so outrageously funny and

        this role fits him perfectly.

Joan Cusack as the principal also did very well.

The movie is also very heart-warming, full of energy and really entertaining.

I also love the fact that the kids in the movie are of different ethnicities.

        White, black, brown and yellow.

        Simply put, this movie rocks.
