“New York Minute” is a movie by the Olsen’s sisters which includes action, romance, sentimental moments addressed for all the family. Sadly for them this movie was a big box office flop and they also ended up being nominated for the Razzie Awards.

Why “New York Minute” failed to inspire the audience? I think one of the main factors that

played against this movie is that it is another typical Olsen’s sisters movie. The audience knew what to expect from this movie and they choose to go for a different movie rather then watch a typical Olsen movie.

At the age of 22 years, I think it is high time for the Olsen sisters to do different type of movies ...

      • and it won’t be a bad idea if we see them in separate version on the big screen. The “New York Minute” is mostly about two sisters who have different interests in life and go out of their way to reach their goals even though some time they may end up in big trouble.

I liked the actor, Eugene Levy

who interprets the much disciplined Officer Lomax. The actor, Bob Sagat, who used to interpret the father of the Michelle interpreted by both Olsen sisters in “Full House”, has a small cameo in the movie.

“New York Minute” is a typical Olsen sisters movie ideal for all the family. Just watch it only if you are one of their fans!
