Aliens (1986) is a science-fiction film by director James Cameron and is rated R by the MPAA.

Aliens continues the story of Ripley (Sigourney Weaver), the sole survivor from Alien, who is awakened after 57 years drifting through space. When she gets back company executives don’t believe her story and tell het that the alien planet

has already been colonized. When contact is lost with the colony, Ripley is sen there with a team of Marines, an android (Lance Henriksen), and a company executive (Paul Reiser) with his own mission. When they arrive at the colony they find that all the colonists are gone except for a young girl named ...

      • Newt who Ripley protects throughout the movie.

Aliens is the sequel to Alien and in my opinion Cameron did a better job with the second than the first. Thats probably because there are plenty of aliens to fight in this one as opposed to the single alien in Alien. Weaver did a great job as

Ripley, her best known performance, and got an oscar nomination while becoming the feminist hero for that decade. Reiser, Henriksen, and Paxton all give star-making performances also. The special effects are superb in it which sets the movie apart for most sci-fi movies of this time.

I highly recommend Aliens to and sci-fi fan an action movie fan.
