  • School for Scoundrels is definitely no where near as funny as Todd Phillip's first comedy, Old School

School for Scoundrels (2006) is a comedy directed by Todd Phillips and is rated PG-13 for language, crude and sexual content, and some violence.

School for Scoundrels is about a man named Dr. P (Billy Bob Thornton) who runs a school where luckless men are taught how to become an alpha

male figure. He teaches them how to initiate confrontations and lie whenever necessary, turning them into studs who hide their insecurities behing cool sunglasses and absurd bluster. When one student, Roger (Jon Heder), easily gets his dream girl, Dr. P’s competitiveness kicks in and it becomes a battle ...

      • between teacher and student that is full of pranks that get progressively worse every round.

School for Scoundrels is definitely no where near as funny as Todd Phillip’s first comedy, Old School. It’s like all Billy Bob can play now is foul-mouthed jerks, and Jon Heder is never going to

get away from awkward dork roles hes played in his last 3 movies. It has a few moments that make you laugh out loud, but a few just doesn’t cut it in a comedy.

I don’t really recommend this movie to anybody unless you really don’t have ANYTHING else to do.
