I recently used the Epson’s model Perfection 1650 scanner and I would like to share what I like and what I don’t about it. Maybe its best feature is its ability to scan both photo prints and slides or 35 mm filmstrips.

Despite the fact that digital cameras

are so widely used nowadays there are people that still use analog cameras.

So, you might want to scan your slides or filmstrips.

The scanner has resolution of 1600×3200-dpi.

The scan quality is very good, colors are adequate and well-balanced.

The scanner can be used with Windows or ...

      • Mac, though we have not tried it with Mac, but the manufacturer would not lie, would they? Anyway, the scanner works well.

It connects through USB port and has four shortcut buttons on the front panel.

However, I must say that it has some negative sides.

        The speed

is not very high, especially when you compare it with newer models.

Also, the scanner is quite bulky - its dimensions are 11 by 18 by 4.

5 inches - there are thinner and not so heavy models on the market.

For our ranking I would say this is a perfect 7.
