Dead Alive is a horror film by acclaimed director Peter Jackson and is rated R by the MPAA

Dead Alive about a young man named Lionel (Timothy Balme) who has been forced to take care of his domineering mother. Things get a lot harder when shes bitten by a cursed Sumatran rat monkey that causes her to change

into a zombie. He tries to keep her hidden but eventually she escapes and starts infecting many others, too many for Lionel to hide at least.

Dead Alive is by far the goriest movie I’ve ever seen and I loved every minute of it. Peter Jackson , whos best known for The Lord of the Rings series,

      • does an amazing job with this horror movie thats both gruesome and hilarious throughout. The amount of fake blood used on the set of this movie had to be ridiculous. The acting isn’t good at all but that makes it funnier and I’m pretty sure Jackson didn’t cast them for their acting abilities. There is
one awesome scene where Lionel takes a lawnmower to a horde of zombies and there’s bllod and body parts flying everywhere.

If you’re a horror fan this movie is definitely for you. A lot of people won’t like this movie for the gore but I’m sure there’s plenty of people out there who will love it for it, like me.
