High Fidelity” is definitely the most renowed John Cusack’s movie. I must admit that he did a great job in this movie for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe. In an interview, Cusack admitted that this movie is also one of his favourites too.

What makes “High Fidelity” unique is that it is a movie about a guy talking

about his love life. We are very much used to see women express their opinions on the matter, but not men. The way the movie was shot, with Cusack speaking straight at the camera to the viewer in the first half of the movie, makes this movie different from other movies.

In this movie we see Cusack interpret the role of ...

      • Rob Gordon, who is an owner of a record store, and has been just dumped from his girlfriend. Rob has a hard time accepting this and tries to understand what failed in his relationship with women. His friends and co-workers at the record store seem to offer him more trouble then help.

I must admit that I also enjoyed watching Jack

Black’s interpretation of his role Barry who seems to hate all the customers! Bruce Springsteen has a small cameo in this movie. It seems that the script writers originally wanted Bob Dylan to appear in the movie; however the singer was unavailable at the time.

High Fidelity” is a unique movie with John Cosack and Jack Black at their very best.
