This episode of Tom and Jerry starts off with Tom being a lazy cat in the old west. His owner tempts him with a plate of food by rinigng the dinner bell and filling his plate up and then tells him to catch Jerry the mouse who is stealing food from his owners kitchen! Otherwise there’ll be no dinner!

He sets off on his quest to catch Jerry the mouse and

so the usual chase begins, only this time in a country setting. In this episode Jerry repeatedly rings the dinner bell with different objects thereby getting Tom into trouble with his owner!

During the scene Jerry offers Tom a pact that if he pretend to catch him that they will split his dinner 50/50. Tom agrees and so he goes about pretending he has taken care of the little problem making ...

      • his owner happy! His owner comes over with the plate of food and gives him a few pats on the back and when Jerry reminds Tom of the pact he shoots it to pieces.

Jerry gets angry and smashed the food into Tom’s face thereby ensuing another chase! This time Tom grabs a branding iron and chases after Jerry who gets stuck in a hole in the kitchen door. Before Tom

can brand Jerry’s behind he slips out the hole and forcibly pushes the door open and Tom runs straight into the kitchen and brands his owner’s behind instead! Well, we all know how this one must end…Tom ends up running from a fury of shots from his owner while Jerry enjoys a turkey leg in peace.

It enjoyed this episode, it had it laughs in it and they never seem to get old.
