The Silence of the Lambs, directed by Jonathan Demme is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America. The original release date was February 14, 1991 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Crime/Thriller and stars Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Scott Glenn as Jack Crawford as Anthony Heald as Dr. Frederick Chilton.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a genius and a killer. Combining those two

qualities gives you an intelligent serial killer the likes you will hope not to come in contact with. If such a fate should befall you, take solice in knowing that you provide the meat portions for the main course in his dining routine, for he is also a cannibal. Currently, Dr. Lecter is behind bars so to say, in a maximum security facility for the criminally insane.

Clarice is an FBI Agent who seeks out his expertise ...

      • in helping her to local and capture another serial killer is on the lose and terrorizing the unsuspecting population. She comes to Lecter asking him to help her rationalize the killer’s pattern and behaviour so that she can predict where he will strike next and hopefully stop him.

Lecter also uses the opportunity to plan his escape. A grand performance by one of the best in the business. His work is always expectional at every given moment.

        People

die, victims are rescued, a killer is apprehended and a prisoner escapes. Can you handle all that this movie has to offer in a tale of suspence, intrigue and murder? There is only one way to find out and that is sit have a sit down with this movie and give it an uninterrupted watch. No distractions, have popcorn and beverages handy so that you need not move before the end. Enjoy, I know you will!
