  • However, I definitley agree with those of you out there who thought Big was a jerk for pulling that right before the wedding, BUT, I don't agree with Carrie's beating with the flowers and telling him she knew he would do that
  • Yes, I know, that was their relationship, that's what it was about all those years before, and she knew it, yes, yes, yes, I am not disagreeing, but he WAS there, to marry her, he tried telling her he had a lapse in judgement (although huge and very bad timing), but he was there and he loved her and most of all, he was ready
  • It shows God does work in mysterious ways, once she gave up all hope of having her own and finding out she was getting a daughter from China, and just let it go and enjoyed and was grateful just for the chance of still being a mother, her dream came true

I recently saw Sex in The City (The Movie), like i’m sure most of you women and some men have already dashed to the nearest theatre to see. I say most women and some men, based on my trip to the movies and the observations I made while being there. It was funny and quite entertaining in itself watching the moviegoers over the movie.

Most of the viewers were groups of girls, dressed up and I guess in some way either emulating the 4 female stars of the movie, or maybe just honoring the stars fashion styles. Either way, most were groups of girls, whether groups of 2, 3, 4 or even 9 who

      were snapping photos of themselves.

I myself, went in my sweats, with my sister, to a spur-of-the-moment viewing after leaving a friend who said going to see the movie was a must since she knows my love of the series. I felt bad though because I had told a friend that I would go with her and some of her friends to see it.

We figured if we went this time, we were sure we would love it and would just go again making everyone happy. Well we were right, we LOVED it!!!! First of all, I am a NY girl who like Carrie, recently broke up with my boyfriend of 6 years, which our

      relationship could be greatly compared.

So I myself could really relate to Carrie an dher reltionship with the Very handsome, BIG, John James Preston… The fact that Carrie and Big’s relationship works out after all in the end, it gives me, and a great deal of women the same hope. However, I definitley agree with those of you out there who thought Big was a jerk for pulling that right before the wedding, BUT, I don’t agree with Carrie’s beating with the flowers and telling him she knew he would do that.

am not disagreeing, but he WAS there, to marry her, he tried telling her he had a lapse in judgement (although huge and very bad timing), but he was there and he loved her and most of all, he was ready. I feel this way also because if she did’t believe that and know that in her heart, she would have never been able to forgive him in the first place and take him back.

Besides the Carrie and Big drama, I was thrilled when Charlotte found out she was having the baby and had a very healthy, happy baby girl. It shows God does work in mysterious ways, once she gave up all hope of

having her own and finding out she was getting a daughter from China, and just let it go and enjoyed and was grateful just for the chance of still being a mother, her dream came true.

Samantha is in a category all her own and she kept true to herself in the end. Miranda, and Steve, WOW! I never thought Steve would do that to her, but suffice to say, Miranda can tend to be a cold, uncaring and very cynical woman which although definitley did not give Steve the right to do that, she pushed him away, without a doubt.

Even if you were not a big fan of the show, it is defintley a GO SEE MOVIE!
