The Georgia aquarium is the first place we visited in Atlanta. It is the world’s largest aquarium and is not to be missed at any cost. The aquarium is divided according to regions and species types; there is a section for tropical life forms, one for fresh water and another for cold water sea animals.

We were able to see closely creatures as small as clown fish to as huge as whale sharks. We also saw beluga whales through a floor to ceiling glass partition. It was an educating as well as entertaining trip. Our ticket cost of $29 per head included a 4D show Deepo’s Undersea Wondershow; along ...

      • with the huge sharks and whales which landed out of nowhere on our faces there was water spraying on us at times for the 4D effect.

It took us almost the whole day to walk about and see the entire place. And our camera was doing overtime with all the beautiful pictures we clicked, especially in

the tropical zone with its brilliant colors. There is a café with a wide range of selections and it was fun to eat under the blue lights giving us a feeling of being under the ocean.

Whenever someone comes to visit us and we take them to see around Atlanta, this is one tourist spot we never miss.
