The Host, written by Stephenie Meyer, is a very unique book that my friend had given to me for loan recently. This is a unique book, I say because of the amazing plots that surround it.

It is as though the author cleverly plays a very futuristic, modern era in which humans have

been invaded by “hosts” that could master and control your mind and body. So, the story goes to Melanie Stryder who is controlled by the “host” of Wanderer and this soul has conquered Melanie so that Melanie could live as a normal human being. But there are circumstances that makes that ...

      • difficult because the vivid memories of Wanderer’s past love with this guy called Jared is still blaring and alive.

And to make matters worst, Jared is still alive an din fact, hiding away for a particular reason. Melanie has been controlled by Wanderer and she has been filled with thoughts of Jared and

it is kind of insane to be falling in love with this unknown man that she has yet to find. So she goes on a quest with “The Host” itself to look for Jared, and this is a very unique and futuristic modern love triangle story. I enjoyed reading this pretty much.
