Romeo Must Die, directed by Andrzej Barthowiak is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for violence, some language and brief nudity. The original date was March 22, 2000 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Action/Crime/Drama/Romance/Thriller and stars

Jet Li as Han Sing, Aaliyah as Trish O’Day, Isaiah Washington as Mac, Russell Wong as Kai, DMX as Silk and Delroy Lindo as Isaak O’Day.

I cannot really give a plot summary on this movie due to the fact that all I was really interested in was watching the graceful and talented Aaliyah at work. She is/was such an angel.

All that comes back to memory regarding this movie is that she teamed up with Jet Li and kicked some royal ass…maybe she used a stunt double, maybe she didn’t, it ...

doesn’t really matter to me, Aaliyah was just fabulous.

To this date I cannot understand how is that the producers and developers managed to make a movie where the compatibility between the two lead characters didn’t really make a spark on the silver screen or even

      when watched on DVD.

This movie was not one of Jet Li’s better films, but all that can be over-looked once you acknowledge the ever beautiful Aaliyah in action, he smile alone would melt ice…”I miss that girl”.

All-in-all, the movie wan’t all that, but it was still relatively enjoyable.
