Hellraiser, directed by Clive Barker is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America. The original release date was September 18, 1987 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Fantasy/Horror and stars Andrew Robinson as Larry Cotton, Clare Higgins as Julia Cotton, Ashley Laurence as Kirsty Cotton, Sean Chapman as Frank Cotton, Oliver Smith as Frank the Monster

      and Doug Bradley as Pinhead.

Hell comes to the plain of the living through a mysterious box. Havok and carnage is released and the world is left to suffer the wrath of the demons passing through the unearthly gateway.

Who needs a plot…this movie is a bloodfest from the demons pass through and it doesn’t stop or ease up. This is the type of movie ...

      • that will leave you with nightmares for many nights to come if you don’t come to the realization that it’s just a movie.

Hellraiser is the best horror film that I have seen to-date, everything else is just shy of being a comedy, let alone horrific. The demons are so realistic, it’s like just coming out of a deep sleep, you don’t know what

        is real from what isn’t.

Seeing this movie today, after it was first released so many years ago, still brings back memories of the good old days when a horror movie scared the living daylights out of you…worst when you watch it at night all by yourself.

One of the best ‘horror’ movies every produced and still going strong even at today’s standards of movie-making. Enjoy!
