I have read the book ‘Letters to Gauri’. This book is written by M.V. Kamath, Indian writer. This book is the collection of 84 letters which are written by the author to his grand-daughter, Gauri.
Gauri is an adolescent girl and is studying in a school which is far away from her native place. Therefore, the author is writing letters to her. But these are a different sort of letters. The author does
not ask anything about her health, whether she has any problem in the college or how she fares with her studies. The author gives her knowledge and wisdom in his letters. He writes on various topics and the letters are free from family sentiment.
