The Blackberry Curve 8830 is a very easy to use and functional device. Before I purchased the 8830 I had previously owned the Blackberry Pearl 8130.

      The 8130 was very touchy.

If I moved through the menus too quickly the phone would freeze up until i removed

      the battery.

On the other hand the 8830, which has a lot more memory, is very fast and after a month of use has not frozen.

The 8830’s web browsing is a lot more clear due to screen size.

The 8130’s “Sure Type” technology was a failure in my eyes.

Going from the 8130’s “Sure Type” to the 8830’s standard QWERTY keyboard was such a relief.

The keys on the Pearl wore down over a period of 20 days to the point where i could not tell if they were being pushed or ...

The Curve’s keys still after one month feel brand new.

The navigation on the two phones is essentially the same besides the Pearls love to freeze.

The instant email is extremely easy to set up, all that needs to be done is entering your email address.

After entering your email you receive emails with no delay, in fact, my Curve usually receives the mail before my computer.

Everything you could ask for in a phone is in the Curve.

Stylish looks, thin body, durable keys, easy usage, instant email and much much more.
