Haku is dead, Zabuza all but defeated, and the Konoha ninja got a rude awakening into the truth of their world. Zabuza is an evil, heartless ninja who desires nothing more than to kill his enemies, so when his boss shows up and cancels his contract, he should still try to kill Kakashi.

Right? Not according to this show.

By the magic of money Zabuza’s hatred for Kakashi and his fledglings

      disappears like the tide.

As if this wasn’t ‘fairy tale’ enough, after a brief speech by Naruto about how much Haku loved Zabuza, Zabuza breaks into tears, renounces his evil ways, begs the dead Haku’s forgiveness, and vows to kill his former boss, the businessman Gato.

And as if THIS wasn’t ‘fairy tale’ enough, a severely injured Zabuza with just a kunai knife in his mouth manages to fight his way ...

      • through about fifty heavily armed ninja to reach and kill Gato, although in Gato’s eyes Zabuza takes on the form of a really cool looking demon while doing this.

Severely injured Zabuza collapses and Gato’s remaining men decide to kill Naruto and company since their main source of income, Gato, was killed.

Just in time, Inari shows up with the entire village to fight off the invaders who, despite having more

men and being better armed, turn to flee(Did I mention this was like a fairy tale?).

Zabuza dies laying next to Haku, the bridge is finished being built and is named after Naruto, Sasuke wakes up having actually taken no series damage in his fight with Haku and our heroes head back to Konoha and live happily ever after.

Thank you for this insight into ninjas and war, Winnie the Pooh.
