      Two royal families have decided to see their two children married. The decision is made when Prince Derek and Princess Odette are still children, and the children are not at all happy about it. They hate each other’s company to no end.

      However, things change


      when they grow up. Suddenly, Odette is not a tomboy anymore but a beautiful young lady, and Derek is no longer a stubborn brat but a handsome young man.

      The two start falling in love. Their parents couldn’t be happier, but Odette suspects that it is only her beauty that draws Derek to her.

      Her fears are confirmed when she asks him why he loves her. Because she is beautiful, Derek replies.

      On the way, she is attacked and kidnapped by Rothbart, an evil sorcerer, who wants to marry her as well. When Odette rejects his proposal, he turns

      She only becomes a princess at night, if the moon shines on her; that’s when her captor comes to see whether she changed her mind. Every night, Odette refuses his offer of marriage yet again.
