“Snatch.” is a Guy Ritchie production with a similar story line to the movies “Lock, Stock and Two Barrels” and “Pulp Fiction”. This is the movie were you see Brad Pitt speak with a funny accent that can be hardly understood and it is also the movie were you hear a lot of “f***” words, precisely 153 times.

What I really, really like of this movie is the unique style of shooting that it is so related to Guy Ritchie.

It seems that Brad Pitt got on board of this project because he is a fan of Ritchie and really liked his movies. He asked for a part in this movie and Ritchie gave him the role of Mickey O’Neil the gypsy turned boxer. Pitt decided to go for the role even though he had just finished filming “The Fight Club”. In the end, I believe he took a good decision because his role in this movie is very ...

      • particular.

“Snatch.” is based on two storylines one related to a huge diamond that everyone who knows about it seems to want it. The other story is about Mickey O’Neil (Pitt) who from being a gypsy ends up being a boxer. But sometimes a gypsy boxer can complicate lives! The interesting aspect of this movie is that at the end these two stories link and with an interesting conclusion to leave the public to decide what truly happened.

        Although this movie

is mostly linked to Brad Pitt, it must also say that has a great cast. All actors did their part to the maximum. I really liked Jason Statham involvement in this movie, who is after all Guy Ritchie’s prodigy. This movie helped Statham be more noticed and have more important parts such as “The Trasporter” movies.

All in all, “Snatch.” is an interesting movie with Richie unique style of filming which make him receive a lot of positive comments from critics.
