I Think I Love My Wife, directed by Chris Rock is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America for pervasive language and some sexual content. The original release date was March 16, 2007 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Comedy/Drama/Romance and stars Chris Rock as Richard Cooper, Kerry Washington as Nikki Tru, Gina Torres as Brenda Cooper and Steeve Buscemi as George.

Richard is living what some might call the perfect american life. He is married to a wonderful, beautiful

woman, has a lovely child, lives in his own home and works at a prestigious business…he gets paid well too. But he is unsatisfied in the fact that he can’t get ’some’ on a regular basis as his wife always have some excuse as why she can’t give it to him.

Enters the sexy Nikki Tru, his former school friend and she strikes up a recurring meeting with Richard on a daily basis. She is always wanting him to do things for her and he can’t say ...

      • no.

She has basically turned his world upside down, but still he finds it challenging to say no to her. Until his live came into question at the hands of Nikki’s previous boyfriend…they (Richard and Nikki) went to get her stuff from her boyfriends apartment thinking he was out of town, but that was far from the case, he came back in time to see Nikki and this man in his home and he freaked out and went berserk.

Events played out to the point where Richard isolated

himself from Nikki for safety’s sake. Awhile passed and Nikki had moved on and found herself a fiance, but she still had one last request, she wanted to ‘conquer’ Richard before moving on with her noew life.

This played out very interestingly and unexpectedly, you would have to watch it to find out…and be left in shock!!

This movie of far from being a comedy, it is a very nice drama, but the comedy that we know from that of Chris Rock wasn’t evident in this movie. Sad!
