Shrek the Third, directed by Chris Miller and Raman Hui is rated PG bythe Motion Picture Association of America for some crude humor, suggestive content and swashbuckling action. The original release date was May 18, 2007 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Animation/Adventure/Comedy/Family/Fantasy and stars the voices of Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey. Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, Julie Andrews

as Queen, John Cleese as King and Rupert Everett as Prince Charming.

Shrek and Fiona are next in line for the royal throne of Far Far Away after the previous king gets sick. Not feeling up to that particular task, Shrek along with his faithful companions venture off to find the rightful heir in a youngster named Artie played by the voice Justin Timberlake.

Prince charming, on hearing the news of the intended search, sets out ...

      • to find and dispatch the would be king and take his place as king of the fary tale land. After being humiliated and virtually banished from his homeland, Prince Charming is not feeling so charmed.

So, once again, the ogre named Shrek with his trusty sidekicks must battle the now evil Prince Charming and fight for the right of Artie to sit as king on the thone of the kingdom.

Being the third installation of the

Shrek saga, this movie did not diasspoint in delivering expert material. It has not worn thin or repetative in the least and we still find joy watching the green ogre and friends entertain us to the maximum.

So far, there is no other animated series that has claimed its audience as a true fictional masterpiece as Shrek has. A smash hit that continues to live up to the hype is has created. Two thumbs all the way up!
