Red Planet, directed by Anthony Hoffman is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for science fiction violence, brief nudity and language. The original release date was November 10, 2000 for United States audience. This movie falls in the genre of Action/Science Fiction/Thriller and stars Val Kilmer as Robby Gallagher, Carrie-Anne Moss as Comander

Kate Bowman, Benjamin Bratt as Lt. Ted Santen and Tom Sizemore as Dr. Quinn Burchenal.

Earth is dying, scientist are faced with the tasks of findly another planet to populate and they send a team to investigate Mars, the red planet, thus the title.

It seems that they always need a robot of some sort to assist them ...

      • with their investigation, and 9 times out of 10, the artificial being goes batty and ends up costing others their lives.

Don’t they do they research and back tests, don’t they know that these mechanical people only cause more harm than good in the long run? Who can’t listen, will feel. And that they did.

        Make no mistake,

you wanted Science Fiction, that is what your getting, pure and straight without deviation. From start to end, you will be overwhelmed at all the possibilities that science fiction has to offer in one movie.

This movie is top knotch, filled with excitement and intrigue. A clasification of mystery should also be a part of the genre listing.

        Happy viewing!
