  • I like the episode because Eames really steps up to the plate and doesn't let Goren completely take control like in other episodes

For many of us, the thought that our spouse is cheating is a horrible thought. With the internet though, cheating has become much easier.

That is a little fact of life that a poor suburban woman learns in this episode of Law and Order Criminal Intent.

      When her son stays

home sick from school, he looks in his dad’s email account and notices a sexy message another woman sent his dad.

She investigates and learns that he has had a personal ad online for over a month.

After confronting him, the whole family is killed.

Eames and Goren at first ...

      • assume that the man killed his wife and two children before killing himself.

The more they investigate, the more something seems wrong and they begin to think the murders were staged.

Not only that, but they think it was staged by a cop.

They also discover that the murdered man

was involved in an investigation of dirty cops, with cops taking money from the city.

They’re close to the mark by thinking it’s cops, but there’s more going on here.

I like the episode because Eames really steps up to the plate and doesn’t let Goren completely take control like in other episodes.
