I am reviewing the movie, Romeo and Juliet. This is Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Seventeen-year-old Leonard Whiting and 15-year-old Olivia Hussey play Romeo and Juliet, the star-crossed lovers who defy their feuding families in order to be together.
Leonard Whiting and Olivia do a phenomenal job at protraying
the young lovers.
Everyone knows what Romeo and Juliet is about so I won’t go into the plot.
Needless to say, I think this is the best and farmost the most dedicated film to William Shakespeare’s text.
It really seemed magical up on the screen.
The two actors made it a fun ...
