I am reviewing the movie, Romeo and Juliet. This is Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Seventeen-year-old Leonard Whiting and 15-year-old Olivia Hussey play Romeo and Juliet, the star-crossed lovers who defy their feuding families in order to be together.

Leonard Whiting and Olivia do a phenomenal job at protraying

      the young lovers.

Everyone knows what Romeo and Juliet is about so I won’t go into the plot.

Needless to say, I think this is the best and farmost the most dedicated film to William Shakespeare’s text.

It really seemed magical up on the screen.

The two actors made it a fun ...

      • thing to watch, even if the audience wasn’t a huge Shakespeare fan.

In addition to the incredible acting of Romeo, Juliet, the nurse, Mercutio, Tybalt, the Friar, and all the other actors, I would like to comment on the music of the film.

The music of the film is absolutely phenomenal, and is

        not one to be beat.

It will forever be a classic love theme, as will the movie be a classic romance.

The theme of Romeo and Juliet will live long into the world, and will be sung by countless artists over the course of the years, as it has thus been.
