‘Blood Diamond’ is a movie directed by Edward Zwick. Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsoun are the main actors. They have performed well in the movie.

Diamonds are a status of wealth, but if you watch this movie, you will come to know that in the places where diamonds are

mined, they are a status of exploitation. ‘Blood Diamond’ is a movie which brings out the conflict for the possession of the diamonds.

It is an action thriller. But it also brings out emotions in the watcher.

One shudders with shock at the brutality which is shown in the movie. One feels disgusted that man can become so brutal when he is on the quest of diamonds.

Man can become worse than an animal when he is seeking for riches. The story is set in Sierra-Leone.

The story revolves around a diamond smuggler, Danny Archer and Solomon Vandy,

a fisherman. Vandy is a victim of the civil war.

Vandy is captured and separated from his family. He is forced to work in a diamond field.

I liked the movie very much. Of course, the movie is violent and brings out clearly the brutality of man, but it

is realistic and brings out emotions in you.

The movie captures the attention of the audience. The actors have performed well and there is no flaw in their performance.

I recommend this movie for one and all. This movie is a movie which is worthy to be seen.

I rate the movie 8 points.
