  • I like cookies, ice cream and other sugary treats, but I know they aren't good for the body so I try not to eat too many of those types of things
  • I think the Melba toast in some trail mixes is what really tastes disgusting to me, so I was happy when I saw that the Kirkland Signature doesn't include that particular item

I guess trail mix was originally meant for hikers. There are a variety of mixes, but I honestly hate most of them. Many actually make me feel nauseated after I eat them. The oriental trail mixes and a few others are okay, but most have one or two ingredients that ruin the who batch. I kept hoping that someone would come up with something that tastes good that isn’t too fattening. Trail

mix seems the most likely choice. I like cookies, ice cream and other sugary treats, but I know they aren’t good for the body so I try not to eat too many of those types of things. I suppose I could try to get by on ice water all day, but that doesn’t seem very satisfying either.

I recently tried Kirkland Signature Trail Mix from Costco, and I have finally found one I ...

      • can eat without feeling sick, as long as I don’t eat too much. I can still only eat a handful or two at a time, but that’s probably all a person needs anyway.

I think the Melba toast in some trail mixes is what really tastes disgusting to me, so I was happy when I saw that the Kirkland Signature doesn’t include that particular item. Kirkland is full of peanuts, so this

isn’t for people who are allergic. It also contains raisins, plain M&M’s, almonds and cashews. I now keep a bag at my desk, but it still has more calories, fat, sugar and sodium than I would care for. A serving size is 3 tablespoons which provides 160 calories, 10 grams fate, 2 grams saturated fat, 40 mg sodium, and 9 grams sugar. When is somebody going to come up with something healthy that tastes good?
