This was one of the darker episodes of the series and considering that the show is based on a Stephen King novel, I think that’s saying a lot. The episode starts with Johnny and Bruce driving down the road and listening to the radio.

A local shock jock is on

the air and the two men listen in interest until he starts bashing Johnny.

That’s fine for the guys, until he brings up Sarah, Walt, and their son JJ who is actually Johnny’s son though he grew up thinking and believing that Walt was his father.

      When JJ gets into ...

      • a fight at school, they call Johnny first.

That actually doesn’t make any sense because Johnny was never identified as his father and they kind of make it seem like the school called him before they called the parents he lives with.

They learn that JJ’s friends are all teasing

him about his real father and making fun of him at school.

Johnny begins to embark on a tentative friendship with the shock rock after seeing him die in a vision.

He keeps seeing the same vision, which proves to him that he has to help the man…at any cost.
