The Mist, directed by Frank Darabont, a novel from Stephen King is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America and stars Thomas Jane as David Drayton, Marcia Gay Harden as Mrs. Carmody, Laurie Holden as Amanda Dunfrey Andre Braugher as Brent Norton and William Sadler as Jim Grondin.

Horror comes creeping of the mountains after a freak storm

and leaves a small town facing the worst nightmares come to life. A group of people, local townsfolk and a handful of out-of-towners get held up in a supermarket as creepy crawlers pick them off one by one from the outside, while a religion-crazed manwoman stirs up more trouble on the inside.

The task is to get out and way ...

      • alive and in one peace, eveading the creatures that are being hid by the mist as they try to make a sneaky getaway. No easy task mind you, the creatures are blood thirsty and will stop at nothing to get the next meal.

Holding down a title of “horror” is Stephen King’s specialty, but, I was left wanting and wondering

where the horor would actually begin. This movie is not in the least “horrific”.

Apart from that, the end scene is quite disturbing to say the least. If only he had waited just a few minutes more, things would have worked out a whole lot better…don’t want to spoil it for those yet to view this movie. Watch it without expectations. Enjoy.
