Super 8 hotel used to be a lower end hotel. Well it isn’t anymore. The Super 8 is a really nice hotel and a bargain price. The outside of the hotel has a really large carport. The carport had brick pillars and the bottom portion of the hotel had the same brick of the pillars. The hotel is long with 2 stories. There is very little landscaping and what there is is really close to the building and then there are few shrubs by the carport You can see the air conditioning unit from each room. The outside of the Hotel is very well kept and the property is exceptionally clean.

The lobby was really large. All the walls seem to be white in this hotel. The registration desk had a pale plum color.

The area right around the registration desk was tile and the breakfast area was carpeted. All the woodwork in the building was a blond color. There were lots and lots of windows and natural light.

Our room had a king size bed. The room was quite large with plenty of room to put luggage and work if need be. When you walk in, there was a luggage stand near the door along with a place to hang things, jacket pants, etc. The room color was white, which I don’t really like, but then again it is easy to decorate and match things to. When you walk in the bathroom is to your right and past that is the bed. The bed is against the one wall and it has one night stand on the right

hand side of the bed. The lamp was attached to the wall with the cord running down the wall looked odd. The bed was really comfortable and large enough that my husband and I weren’t kicking an poking each other. The pillows of course were flat and I got extra pillows from the front desk. Next to the night stand was a nice sofa. It was highly figured but very comfortable. My logic says that busy upholstery must help cover up any stains if they happen. Next to the sofa was a large fake green plant and a floor lamp. Over the sofa is a large picture. The carpet in the room was a dark blue and there were a dark curtains I the room. The air conditioner was really quiet and ...

easy to control the temperature in the room. That is always a plus because I just hate to throw the covers on and off when I am in bed. There was a work desk with free internet connection. The lamp was attached to the wall with the cord running down the wall again. The desk was not all that big. The chair for the desk was a chair that slid back and forth and flat and stiff. There is a small chest of drawers which has a television sitting on. Then there was a low chest with 2 drawers that ended p being a catch all. White we were there food got put on it. Over the top of these drawers was a nice sized mirror. There is also a small refrigerator in the
room. That was very convenient. We put our food in there and some drinks and it was very handy. The bathroom was a typical hotel bathroom. It had a combination tub and shower with bars for hanging on to. The bathroom also was white and didn’t have a whole lot of character. The towels were nice and there were plenty of them. There was a really big mirror and plenty of room.

I was really surprised by the swimming pool. The pool was nice and big and the area around it was also very generous in space. There was a whirlpool and seating all around the pool area.

The hotel was very clean. Super 8 is definitely not the hotel that I remembered it to be. The hotel staff was great pleasant, courteous and willing to help.
