If you like blaxploitation films you have probably seen this one already. This one, starring Pam Grier as Sheba is one of the classics—-but not necessarily because of its cinematic greatness.

Pam plays a private detective who is helping her father fight mobsters.

Let me just say that you don’t watch these kinds of films

      for their involving plots.

It is Pam’s sheer sex appeal, and the corny one-liners that makes this movie a classic.

My favorite parts are the fight scenes in which the punches “don’t quite connect.

” I also love how Sheba is able to get out of tight situations when her back is up against the wall.

      • Truly, seeing this woman hide a shank under her sleeve before being tied up to be tossed in the river (for a little “water skiing”) was hilarious.

What was even more hilarious was how quickly she cut herself free of the ropes, and then hopped back onto the yacht undetected.

        I also love how this

woman is able to knock grown men out with just one punch.

Anyway, this movie is absolutely hilarious—to the utmost degree.

It is these films in particular that are part of a huge genre that Quentin Tarantino is trying to capitalize from today.

If you like old films, you must find a way to get your hands on this one.
