The Watchers by Dean R. Koontz
  • In my opinion its awesome and a must read by all people from the age 16 I'd say because of some explicit material
  • The story is really an exciting amalgamation of love, thrill and horror, personally I enjoyed each and every bit of the book and for me it was a page burner

Well, to be saying the truth I started reading with Harry Potter thanks to miss Rowling but I proceeded my rading habit with Dean Koontz’s books and the first of them was The Watchers. In my opinion its awesome and a must read by all people from the age 16 I’d say because of some explicit

material. The plot revolves around a top secret mission going on at the baynodyne laboritories financed by the US government which focuses on recombing animal DNA to enhance their intelligence for use against the Soviets! As a result of this project two specimens were produced one of them being a dog with super enhanced intelligence with ...

      • amiable nature and one was a terribly altered baboon with enhaced intelligence and special build to serve as a slaughterer(what dangeroyus combination really). The story begins when they escape from the labs, the dog ends in hands of a retired official and The Outsider(i. e. the baboon) is driven by the urge to kill it. The story
is really an exciting amalgamation of love, thrill and horror, personally I enjoyed each and every bit of the book and for me it was a page burner! Seriously you should give it a read, believe me you’ll enjoy it!!! :)
