  • It is great seeing famous ancienty history right before your eyes it's just a pleasure to be there, it's interesting how each one of the soldier statues represented a real person and were all unique, seeing them really gave you an idea of what soldiers looked like back then and how tall they were, very interesting
  • I highly recommend you visit the Teracotta Soldiers one day, you'd be silly if you went to China and didn't visit them

I visited the Terracotta Soldiers in the ancient city of Xian, China not that long ago. Leading up to going to China, the Terracotta Soldiers was one of the top things on my list to see when I went there.

When I did go there to the large building where the Terracotta Soldiers are located, I was expecting it to be absolutely packed as a lot of Chinese

tourist areas are (esp the Great Wall of China) instead there were only a few dozen groups there which sounds like a lot but in a building that size it wasn’t which was great.

When you go to the Terracotta Soldiers there it is more than just seeing the famous soldiers, there are other buildings and rooms you can visit which is basically a museum to other items that were found around the area, you can go there to find

out more about the history of the area as well.

Conclusion: China is famous for the Terracotta Soldiers and it is for a reason, it’s great history and uniquity. There is a great story behind the soldiers which I really like. I highly recommend you visit the Teracotta Soldiers one day, you’d be silly if you went to China and didn’t visit them. Again, I highly recommend you go there.
