I do really appreciate the book “The World’s Wealthiest Losers” written by Margaret Nicholas and published by Octopus Publishing Group Ltd. in 1986.

The book is a compilation of the autobiographies of people who have earned great wealth by this world standard including Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Mario Lanza,

      John D.

Rockefeller, Aristotle Onassis,Queen Soraya of Iran, Imelda Marcos of the Philippines, J.

Paul Getty,Jean Claude Duvalier,Howard Hughes and many others who have been considered rich by the world standard.

The book depicts that wealth and money is not necessarily a guarantee of true happiness.

Many of tha personalities who have been featured ...

      • in the book have lived miserable lives inspite of acquiring tremendous wealth.

It proves once again that money is not everything.

The book depicts that one has to pay a high price for having the privilege of being wealthy.

I thought once that the rich are truly happy people, but I realized rom reading

the book that you can be a man of great wealth and still live a futile and miserable life.

I find the book very informative and contains a wealth of great lessons in life.

        I highly recommend the book.
