If you really really want to see a bad film, look no further than “The Marine” a serious B-movie starring WWE wrestler John Cena. As if having a wrestler headline the film isn’t enough of an indication of this movie’s suckiness they had the nerve to include F/X show Nip/Tuck’s “Kimber” (aka Kelly Carlson, not to be confused with American Idol, Kelly Clarkson). In any event, my friend and I both noticed that this woman’s character, Kate is basically

the same character as the one she plays in Nip/Tuck: a fake, blonde bubblehead who had very limited acting ability.

What moved me so in this film (did I just call it a film?) is John Triton’s (Cena) ability to pop up and bounce back from so many calamities. Seriously, this man survives an explosion with no scars, a couple of car crashes with no scratches.

He’s being chased and shot at with machine guns, while driving a ...

      • stolen police car with no windshield. But while driving he holds up a bullet proof vest and nothing happens to him—and miraculously, he can still see whilst holding the thing up to his face.

After running through the woods in hip/hop clothes without becoming out of breath at all, he finally catches up to his kidnapped wife. After rescuing her from underwater in a trapped car where she’s been for nearly 20 minutes, he miraculously revives her.

She obtains consciousness, coughing But surprisingly, there’s no water dribbling out of her mouth or lungs. I guess directors forgot to add that one realistic detail.

Good thing they remembered her lip gloss. Despite several fights with the bad guys, this chick’s hair and makeup were virtually untouched.

Way to go. I would strongly suggest renting this movie, as you will truly never see anything funnier than what’s on screen.

Shame on the makers of this farce.
