The Gravedancers was one of the movies released as part of the After Dark Horror Fest. This is a low budget movie that features some B-list actors that probably wouldn’t have been seen by many people if it weren’t for that festival. Though this movie has a few problems, I actually did enjoy it.

The movie is about a group

of friends who reunite when a fourth friend dies suddenly. One of the friends misses the funeral, and convinces the other two to visit the cemetery with him that night. While paying their respects, they find what they think is a poem on the grave. They read the poem and end up dancing on the graves. The spirits of those ...

      • buried in the graves then haunts all three.

The main character is played by Dominic Purcell from Prison Break, and his wife is played by Clare Kramer from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When things first begin turning bad, she assumes that it is his female friend. The two had an affair at one point, and she is convinced that the

woman is stalking them again. By the time the group realizes their real problem, it may be too late to save them.

I’m not suggesting that this movie is perfect, nor am I saying it is a masterpiece. It’s just a better than average horror movie. it’s well worth the rental if you’re in the mood for a good horror movie.
