The Discovery Channel has presented a program called “A Haunting,” in which real people present their real-life ghost stories. These stories are very intriguing, and fairly scary - that is, if you believe in that sort of thing. I happen to believe in many elements of the supernatural. When I saw the “Hungry Ghosts” episode, I had a different idea about what it was about. The episode opens and the narrator (who has a creepy voice by the way) explains that a father moved his family to a really high-end mansion in Taiwan at the behest of
his job. The family fell in love with this high-tech looking white house with lots of glass windows. Everyone seemed to love the place except for the mother, who complained that “someone” pushed her against the back upon stepping through the threshold.
She revealed (in the interview) that there was something about the home that she really didn’t like. She had a bad feeling, but didn’t say anything right away.
