Five Islands Provincial Park is a camping/picnic park located off of Highway 2 about 50 miles west of Truro, NS. The park is located high above the cliffs along the Minas Basin, part of the Bay of Fundy which boasts the World’s Highest

The camping park offers approxiamately 100 sites that all have access to water, but are also private (lots of room between them).

There are wooded and open sites, trailer and tent sites, as well as group sites.

      The park offers ...

      • a playground, comfort station with showers/toilets, as well as swimming and clamdigging at the picnic park.

The park is staffed with local, knowledgeable employees who can assist you with anything you need.

The park’s greatest attribute is its scenery and landscape which

can be viewed from your site, from the beach, or along any of the several miles of groomed hiking trails found throughout the park.

Rates are cheap, about $20 can a night.

It is simply put, a beautiful place to wake up on a summer’s morning.

I want to camp there during the second week of May. Will I be able to camp anywhere and hike? Thanks

You can go hiking. But you can’t camp anywhere because you’ll have to make reservations. You can go here for info and to make a reservation:
