As a big Harry potter fan I went to see the motion picture Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at the local movie theatre. However I must say that I am disappointed. David Yates does not do justice to the book at all. I

see it as a farfetched abstract of the book. According to me it seems to be an old horror and dark movie.

I know that the 5th year at Hogwarts is a particularly dark one but Yates manages to make the movie heavy and boring at times. The relationship between Harry and Cho Chang should have got a more in depth attention but I hardly notice it.

I appreciate that a book of 766 pages cannot be fit to its entirety in a movie, but I still think that Yates could have done a ...

better job. The movie is also not spectacular compared to previous ones. However I did appreciate the fly on the broom to 12th Grimauld Place.

Regarding Lord Voldermort, Ralph Fiennes is a very disappointing. He is not fearful enough. He even has a soft voice. I’m

looking for the fearful cold villain. Moreover Harry’s tour in Snape’s memories has not been given a fair consideration either.

I just hope that the 6th movie will be a lot better.

I disagree, I have seen this movie several times and read all the books at least twice. I have binged on all the HP movies many times. This movie might have had a few boring parts but this is the book/movie with the room of requirement and the DA I love the action/story of banding together to thwart the ministry’s plans for the students. Dolores umbridge with her bright pink clothes and dark heart is a great character, you love to hate her. I think that because a lot happens in this volume, it is one of the more important stories.

I have seen this move 3 to 5 times.I accept it is heavily dark hued at times but it is wisely made and some comedy is made to relieve the tense atmosphere…

I read all the books so I was excited to watch how that particular book came to life. In this book we see the death of Sirius Black and the nuts of Bellatrix, it’s a bipolar movie, the same director said it. I’m a huge fan of all the books and it will always be a boomer not to see the whole book in a very short space, but I think they did the best they could. Plus, J.K Rowling was in charge of supervising the film was as similar as possible to the book, however for me it was special, because Harry Potter was growing, was becoming better and wiser, I enjoyed seeing how the relationship between Hermione and Ron started to be something else even if they struggled to admit it. They were teenagers, so I loved to see it because I was also a teenager I think it was genius how the mixed comedy with darkness and death, how Harry in the end was always surrounded by love and support, and of course I loved the fights I hated to see Sirius Black died, but I was dying when saw Dumbledore facing Voldemort and the spells were insane For me Harry Potter is special, is different, he is an underdog but for me underdogs always surprise people and he did
