      Every February for the past ten years Branson, MO has been home to the Autofest car show. Autofest is sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores. It is a indoor car show that features some very cool classic cars.

      This year Lightning McQueen the Disney wonder car was the highlight of the show. Lightning McQueen is a red race car with a big smile and big blue eyes. This special car brought lots of smiles from the


      youngsters which in turn made all us adults smile. All the kids were just so fascinated with this car, it was worth the price of admission just to watch the kids.

      Most of the cars on display were from the 1950’s and 1960’s. There was a sweet 1963 Corvette that I fell in love with and there was a cute little 40’s era police car that was just so darn cute. There were vintage Fords, Chevy’s and Plymouth’s.


      • These were all in immaculate beautiful shape for vintage cars and trucks.

        Tickets prices were $7 for adults and you could browse all day. It was held in the Missouri Entertainment and Event Center which is a nice community building for events. It is both large and clean, the Center is big enough to hold about 150 cars, vendors and visitors. The majority of the cars were vintage, however there were a few new models.

        There

        were clowns and balloons and games for the kids and a assortment of merchandise booths and drawings for the adults.

        If you enjoy car shows you’ll like Branson’s Autofest, it is one of the first car shows of the year, it is always held in February and it’s indoors which makes it a great event in the middle of winter. If you missed it this year you might want to plan on being there next. It is always a fun time!
