According to what I have read, season 8 of Full House was not meant to be the last season. The producers planned on doing one more season before ABC cancelled the show. It was then going to move to another network, but plans fell through. Die hard fans who watched the show for 8 years

were treated to a haphazard season with poor storylines and an even worse finale.

Created as a special two episodes event, the last episodes centered on DJ’s hunt for a prom date and Michelle getting amnesia after falling off of a horse. In the end, Michelle regains her memory just in time to see DJ’s “surprise” ...

      • date Steve return. The actor himself returned from Harvard where he was studying to make the appearance.

The last season brought some recurring characters into the mix including Stephanie’s rough and tumble friend Gina, and her mother who embarked on a relationship with Danny. We also saw Kimmy get drunk at a college party and

finally learn what happened to the girls’ mother: she was killed by a drunk driver.

As much as I loved the show, this last season was incredibly disappointing. It feels like they threw together a bunch of random ideas, and stopped trying before the first episode even aired. The fans didn’t deserve this, and neither did the actors.
