Season 6 of Full House is without a doubt my favorite season. The show finally grew beyond its awkwardness of the previous season, while introducing new characters and focusing on some long forgotten characters like Kimmie Gibbler from next door.

The main reason I loved this season so much was because it introduced the character of Steve,

DJ’s new boyfriend who she met while spending the summer in Spain. It was explained that the two dated in the previous season, though there was no mention on the show. Steve added some light hearted and carefree fun to the show, and seemed to bring back something it had been missing.

The show also made Kimmie ...

      • a regular character, as opposed to the girl who lived next door and occasionally had a crush on Jesse. Danny gets a real girlfriend in the form of Vicky and the season ends with him proposing to her. We also see Jesse go back to school to get his high school diploma, and Becky give birth to
        the twins.

The downside of the season was when the whole family traveled to Disney World for the last two episodes. It was an odd situation, made more so by the fact that Kimmie tagged along. Throw in Michelle winning Princess for the Day, and you have the makings of an episode that will make you wince.
