I pills is the name of the tablet which is taken to avoid the birth of the baby after having the physical relationship between a man and a woman. Actually it is enough to take one tablet for the whole month, which works so that the women will not become pregnant.

This is the tablet, which suits best for

those ladies who don’t want to have the baby and also for those people who want to have a gap to have their second baby.

These pills are little costly but still people prefer to buy these tablets because they are very safe for ladies and these tablets also do not cause any kind of side effects.

      Actually these ...

      • tablets are taken during the ovulation period of women to stop any births.

So many of my friends have tired these pills and they are still using it because they believe that these pills are the safe and sure way to avoid any kind of unwanted risks.

One more advantage of having these pills is that, as we only

need to take one pill in a month during the ovulation period (that is between 14th or 15 day after having the periods), so that we can be tension free for the whole month.

But it is always good to take the advice of our doctor before we take any action in this case.

But still I suggest using these pills.

i am a journalist doing a story on the side effects of i Pills. There is a growing trend of taking this pill among the teenagers. they tend to misuse it by consuming 5 to 6 tablets in a month. i would like to know what happens in that case? what all problems arise… pre ant post pregnancy problems? is this trend increasing because of the unawareness among the teenagers?

    Hi Urmi,

You are an Indian and hence concerned about this issue. Actually, few years back the Health Ministry had issued an advertisement that warned about the misuse of iPill, and other similar emergency pills. Since then advertisement of these pills are no more aired through tv channels.

There are many possible side effects of iPill. Following are some of them:

    - Nausea
    - vomiting
    - headache
    - irregular menstruation
    - abdominal pain
    - breast tenderness, etc.

It must be taken only in emergency circumstances, and hence the name emergency pill.
