With his last film “Why Did I get Married,” doing so well, many people expected Tyler Perry’s film new film “Meet the Browns,” to be a disappointment. The film however is anything but a disappointment and continues Perry’s streak of solid films.

Meet the Browns stars Angela Basset, Rick Fox and Lance Gross.

The movie tells the story of a struggling family that refuses to give up, or to go down the wrong road. The story is heartfelt, relatable, and inspiring. Basset delivers a great performance and Rick Fox surprisingly does an exceptional job.

As with most of his films, Perry has adds lots of humor ...

      • to the story. Some fans have criticed the humor saying it gives in to typical stereotypes. I however thing the humor is fine. While on occasion it is a little corney, overall it fits in and makes the movie enjoyable.

Tyler Perry makes a short appearance in the movie as Madea. Other than

that the film focuses on Basset her three children and their struggle to change their life. The love story adds to the movie as Rick Fox’s character tries hard to hook up with Basset.

Meet the Browns is a solid movie and if you’ve like Perry’s other films you will love this one as well.
