Van Halen burst on the scene with their debut album and changed the way guitar players played their instruments. Eddie Van Halen was so influential and practically everyone copied his playing style throughout the next decade.

The front man David Lee Roth sparked a vital new energy that got crowds to come alive.

      With just

enough mixture of sex appeal, musical genius, and perfect groove Van Halen went on to become a legendary band.

While their debut album might not be their best album it is without a doubt their most important record.

It seems like every year there is talk of a possible reunion.

      I have a feeling that ...

      • boat has sailed along time ago.

This album is an important part of music history.

It belongs in every music collection and can only be described as great.

This band isn’t abstract or thought provoking.

They are simply Van Halen and they rock you to the core.

The most memorable aspect of the band will always be

        Eddie Van Halens guitar playing.

Like Hendrex he pretty much redefined how it is to be played.

His influence still comes into play today even though the guitar solo is rare in music now.

Sometimes I wonder why the world prefers a simple minded formula for modern music? Why settle for anything when there is some talented musicians out there.
