I only watched “Death at a Funeral” because I read some positive comments about it; however I didn’t expect to be such a great comedy, especially when taking in account that the main topic is a funeral. The director of this movie, Frank Oz managed to come up with exceptional work considering

that the filming for this movie was done in 7 weeks time!

“Death at a funeral” narrates the story of a funeral service from hell where nothing goes as planned. To add insult to injury, the persons who attended the funeral service don’t seem to care about the death person in question and ...

      • all of them have other reasons to attend the funeral rather than the obvious one.

Although the cast of this film doesn’t include famous actors, they really did a great job in providing us with a hugely enjoyable comedy. I particular liked a scene when a close friend of the death person, Peter

informs Daniel, the main role in this film, that he has some news to tell him.

A hugely enjoyable film which already won two awards. The moment you start watching this movie, you won’t stop laughing. It would be great if Hollywood produces more of this time of ‘healthy’ comedy. This is a great movie.
