‘Mystery of death’ is a book written by Swami Abhedananda. This book is a spiritual philosophy. Abhedananda’s philosophy is derived from the Upanishads, which is a very ancient spiritual text of India.

In this book, the author explains that death is a mysterious phenomenon and one has to try to understand it. At the same time, there is no need to be afraid

      of death.

We have to accept death without fear and we should welcome death. Abhedananda says that after death, everything does not end.

The soul continues to live even after the death of the physical body. The soul is immortal, imperishable.

The author also says that in India, people believe in heaven in a different sense. The difference is that Indians believe in ...

      • different types of heaven or different planes of existence.

Only the highly spiritual people reach the highest plane of existence after death. Abhedananda says that death is nothing but a mystery.

But we have to accept death with regard and happiness in our heart. He also speaks about other things such as immortality of the soul, the concept of God etc.

        I liked

the book very much. It is not very interesting to read, but it is a good book.

If you are interested in the concept of death and after-life as well as the immortality of the soul, then it is an ideal book for you. Certain aspects in the book are rather difficult to read.

So one has to read it with attention. I rate this book 8 points.
