Right smack in the middle of a bustling district of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, lies this reasonably-priced, elegantly furnished, and elegant hotel. Nestled at the corner of Chatham and Cameron Roads, the Park Hotel is within walking distance of many shops that sell items covering a wide price range of leather goods, jewelries, exotic dining fare, designer clothes featuring export over-runs from Chinese factories just across the border, and, well, everything that Hong Kong is known for.

      Nearby are places where

you can walk to your heart’s content: Tsim Sha Tsui Park, Museum, University, Rugby and Soccer field, and if you get tired of the mainland and want to cross Hong Kong harbor to the more fast-paced island, the bus stop is only a few seconds away from the hotel’s main door.

The hotel’s restaurants offer quick meals if you are in a hurry, but if you are willing to walk a short distance, just a few minutes away on the side streets just ...

      • outside the hotel, you have a wide range of eating choices catering to every whim and fancy your palate may desire.

Their Poinsettia restaurant offers classic western cuisine, while the Marigold Bar is a great place where you can relax, drink, and enjoy with your friends after a hard day’s work or shopping (although the Bar is at present - January 2006 - closed for renovations, it should open in about a month).

Rooms are simple, carpeted, and comfortable.

        Like most Hong

Kong hotels, rooms are airconditioned and in-room entertainment is varied, although with the many attractions that only Hong Kong can offer, you, like me, would prefer to walk around and sample the bars, theaters, and year-round attractions of shows.

Park Hotel Hong Kong is at 61-65 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

The hotel has lots of promotions and if you’re lucky, you’ll get real value for your money.
